The organization of the last Youth Fistball World Championship was the result of a strong and continuous cooperation between the International Fistball Association (IFA), the Chilean Fistball Association (FChF) and the Club Gimnástico Alemán de Llanquihue. Thanks to the tireless motivation of both our young and long-standing members—each eager to contribute—we were able to create an event with a truly unique character. Every task was carried out with genuine heart and commitment, all with the goal of elevating this championship to the highest level. Together, we have hosted a youth world championship of exceptional standards here in the rainy south of Chile, on the shores of Lake Llanquihue and under the majestic Andes.
We proudly welcomed delegations from Argentina, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Namibia, and Switzerland. The final matchday, played under intense rain, became an unforgettable moment—shared on the field and in the stands—while we simultaneously organized activities to promote this beautiful sport and offer a memorable experience to the public.
For the young players, this tournament will likely become an experience they carry back to their homes and continents with deep appreciation. Beyond the competition itself, the region offers remarkable natural beauty—from islands inhabited by penguins to fast-flowing rivers ideal for rafting, all the way to the endless landscapes along the Pacific coast.
Looking ahead , this kind of events strengstens our commitment to developing fistball in our Region and expanding the global Community that supports it. The bonds forged here, the friendships created,and the passion shared on our fields will continue to inspire future generations. This Tournament was a reminder of what can we achieve when we work together with dedication and a noble purpose.
