Mission and vision for this fistball event
Highlighting and celebrating a Fistball festival for and with the best Fistball athletes in the world. Fistball is still an amateur sports and every player invest a lot of effort and money to participate in the world-wide competitions. Our goal is that all participants leave the host city after the event with great memories and a smile in their face.
We establish all preconditions for a high quality and optimal organization and execution of our events always putting the well-being of the athletes in the focus of our activities. Together we promote Fair-Play on all levels!

In 2018, the city of Salzburg was the center of the fistball world for three days. The best 16 teams from 5 nations met at the newly opened Sportzentrum Nord to determine the winners of the "World Tour Finals".
Exciting matches, a comprehensive supporting program and over 6 hours of live fistball on free TV on ORF Sport Plus characterized this weekend. In addition to a permanent kids' area with various games and sports stations, each of the three days had a special theme. In addition to the "School Day" on Friday with over 300 pupils, there was a multi-sport tournament on Saturday consisting of fistball, basketball, volleyball and soccer. Sunday was dedicated to young fistball players with an U10 and U12 tournament. The winners were then allowed to enter the final with their "idols". Only thanks to the good and above all uncomplicated cooperation between IFA, the city of Salzburg and the representatives of the Austrian Fistball Federation was it possible to organize an event of this size without an organizing club in the background. I would like to say THANK YOU for that. It was a fistball festival for everyone!

For the second consecutive year, the club hosted the WTF. In 2023, a total of 16 na- tional teams from 3 countries and two continents participated. The World Championships were held under the motto "United by Fistball" and were characterized by mutual solidarity. It was a great effort between the local organizing committee of Clube Duque de Caxias, IFA, as wel as promoters, sponsors, and partners. We are grateful for the great support from IFA to have jointly organized a memorable event for our athletes
